New Delhi : In increasing cases of coronovirus, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday extended the lockdown ending in the morning of May 24 for another week in Delhi. More than 1,000 cases are being reported daily in Delhi, I asked people in the last 24 hours so that we can take a decision together. There was a general opinion that the lockdown should be extended by a week, from 5 am the following Monday.

Kejriwal said that the condition of COVID-19 in the national capital has "significantly improved", adding that there were about 1,600 fresh cases reported in the last 24 hours, with a positivity rate of up to 2.5 per cent.
Kejriwal said that we have increased the doctors so that there is no deterioration in the treatment of a common man.
If the corona patients continue to decline in the coming week, we will begin the unlocking process from May 31. We cannot open all the things at once, but will open the activities in a phased manner. My only request to all the people of Delhi is to stay in the house, wear a mask and be safe and do not go out as much as possible.
