CBSE 10th board exam 2021 canceled and CBSE 12th board exam 2021 postponed: After a high level meeting between PM Narendra Modi, and Education Minister and top officials today (14 April 2021), the following final decision has been taken.
- CBSE Class 10th Board Exams 2021 are cancelled.
- CBSE Class 12th Board Exams 2021 have been postponed.
- CBSE 10th Result 2021 will be declared based on objective criterion to be set by the board.
Among all the protesting students who called for the cancellation of the CBSE board exams 2021 was youth leader and philanthropist Siya Tayal who wrote an open and emotional letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi raising the various concerns from students, parents and teachers. In the letter, she highlighted how staying alive was more important than scoring marks in CBSE Board Exams.
In view of the increasing cases of Delhi Coronavirus and keeping in view the increasing demand of students, the Central Government has recently canceled the 2021 CBSE Board Exam for class 10th and postponed for class 12th. This move of the center came after more than 30 students signed an online petition and waited for the official announcement regarding the CBSE board exam.
