CBSE Board Exams 2021: In view of the increasing cases of this coronavirus, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has canceled the CBSE Class 10th board examination earlier this month and postponed the CBSE Class 10th board exam. Several other state boards have also postponed and the board and other competitive examinations have been canceled. Apart from this, the ICSE class 10th board exam has also been canceled due to the status of COVID-19 in the country. After the cancellation of class 10th board examination, CBSE said that it will be released the result of class 10th board on the basis of an objective criterion. And like last year, this time also, CBSE has decided to prepare the result of the students on the same basis.

As per the update from CBSE, 30% marks will be allotted for the new composition of the year end or board exam for merit based questions for the students of class 9th and 10th. In which the questions will be in the form of MCQ, case-based questions, source-based integrated questions or some other form. And furthermore, 20% marks will be for objective type questions and the remaining 50% marks will be for short or long answer questions as per the current pattern.

According to the CBSE board, 91.46 percent of the students were successful in the 10th board examination last year. At the same time, the 10th merit list was not released by the board and the topper was also not announced.

For the students of class 11th and 12th, competition based questions will be for 20% marks, objective type questions for 20% marks and remaining 60% marks as per the existing pattern.
